My name is Kate and I'm a keen amateur photographer. I'm inspired by nature and traveling, it is on these journeys - in far away lands or on near-by mini adventures that I discover the incredible world just outside my door.

I was raised in Surrey, England but have lived in various places including Florence, Italy and the French Alps.

I have always deeply enjoyed travelling and had a great sense of adventure from a young age - rambling in the woods behind our victorian house in Surrey, leading our family through the strange streets of Florence when we first moved there in the late 90's. I am the one that remembers how to get to a place I've only been to once before, when I was 5. Like an internal memory compass. Natually I became enamored with capturing these memories and photography was the perfect companion.

I have lived and travelled extensively in South Africa over the last 3 years and many of the amazing creatures and scenery from these trips can be seen in the portfolio section along with mini adventures from around my Northamptonshire home country side.
